I thought that this was an extremely positive experience for me because I got to hear a little about everyone's lives in our class. I also thought the group facilitations had a lot of good discussions. I feel like I learned about different cultures of classmates and how they grew up.
It was a very fun experience for me and my friends that went. Even though they weren't in the class my friends felt very involved and thought that it was easy to participate in the discussions. Also I really could connect to many of the stories that I heard that day.
I really liked the the voices project. I learned a lot by watching the video. I learned that my group and I had something in common which was that atleast one of our relatives owns their own buisness. A lot immigrants pursue their American Dream by owning their own buisness and have their family participate by working.
It was a great experience. It was nice listening to the different experiences people went through in the class, and just understanding what people went through.
I enjoyed the voices presentations on monday. in addition i thought it was a great experience because i got to interact with others inside the class and see some great stories regarding immigrants.
